That is funny as they are still playing catch up with Android, even after this new version of iOS as all of the "new" features are ones we've had on Android for the last 6 months or more, even the look is much like Android. Including the Notification tray, weather, calander, quick toggles, and even the 3d live wallpaper effect has been able to be done with an app for awhile now. Nothing they announced is new or revolutionary in any way.

Overall I am very disappointed. If anything, this update should have been iOS6 instead of fiddling around with Apple Maps. Like Paul said, not only are these features not new or revolutionary in any way, most of these features have been available on my iPhone through jailbreaking for over 2 years. Here are my summary of thoughts on iOS7: -Control Center -> SBSettings app on Cydia basicaaly does what Control Center will -Notification Center & Transparency -> Bulletin app on Cydia allowed notification on the lockscreen and it's translucency -Icons & Wallpaper -> DeepEnd app on Cydia did the 3D floating icons on top of wallpaper thing. Disappointed that icons still goes Left to Right and Top to Bottom. Very restrictive -Weather App -> The animation is nice. Would be nice is the icon would be animated and updated based on the weather like WeatherIcon app from Cydia -Multitasking -> Multifl0w app and Carswitcher app on Cydia did this -Camera -> The filters are a nice add. Would be nice if shutter speed was controllable for low light pics. Functionality from the Camera+ app on the app store woul dhave been nice -Photos -> I like the new library -Photo Sharing -> It would be nice if photo stream saved all photo's taken (instead of 30 days and 1000 photo limits. Also it would be nice it they were accessible on icloud.com when you log in -AirDrop -> This is basically Apple's NFC sharing, which is an advanced version of bluetooth sharing on dumbphones -Safari -> I love the new update here!!! -Itunes Radio -> Sucks that it is US only -Siri, Mail, Messages -> A natural progression for an update -Find My iPhone -> A great improvement. I wish it took people's pictures (of the theif) and sent it back to iCloud

I'm personally not too thrilled with the new layout. Some of the new icons are ugly and the menus and such look like Windows phone with the light theme turned on. That being said I am excited for some of the new features.

I think this couldn't be more true hehe

All they did is change how things look a little bit. I honestly have just one word for iOS 7.0.....FUGLY!

A bunch of android fanboys posts above. The iOS 7 is nothing like the Android, it looks way sleeker and more stylish than Android. I think Android looks messy and confusing. I owned numerous android phones and an iPhone. I like the interface better on the iPhone but I also like the open-ness of the Android.

It really is personal preference because with me I know how to do everything on Android super easy but I have the iPhone as my 4 month loaner from Koodo and it's so hard to figure out how to do things, I don't know if I can't figure certain things out or just that the iPhone doesn't allow to do the things I was trying to do. Either way I find Android much easier to do things. I do like how iOS7 looks through compared to everything IOS before and I'm excited ton try it out. This guy does a fairly accurate Jon of showing where all the IOS7 features originated from. He just missed that Samsung's S-Voice you can already turn wifi on/off and turn volume up and down or take a picture all with just your voice, so it's not new like he thinks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrM25jqhXdA&feature=youtube_gdata_player
