I am travelling in Italy and I am unable to call back to Canada. Whenever I attempt to make a call I get an automated message from the local network saying that I cannot make the call. I have tried with 2 different networks. I have received phone calls (both from italian numbers and Canadian numbers). I am using Easy Roam and I have voice roaming add on active. Can someone help?

Normally when you call a Canadian number from oversea, you would need to put the country code in front of the Canadian numbers (+1.....) or (001...). Have you checked if the prefix was added to the outgoing numbers?

Also, can you call local Italian numbers?
Yes I am using 001 when calling Canada. And I am able to call Italian numbers.
Data roaming is working fine as well.

I would try +1 and see if it helps anything. Also restart your phone.

Italy has 3 roaming partners https://www.koodomobile.com/help/sites/default/files/PDFs/english_coverage_maps_-_api_feed_data_short_version_-_nov_16_2017.pdf

I would suggest you try another one. If it doesn't work, you can contact Koodo directly and ask if they can help remotely. You could send message to their facebook https://www.facebook.com/Koodo or setup a callback from their digital assistant www.koodo.com/chat
