imessage activation error

Just switched to a new iPhone and I cannot activate iMessage or FaceTime on it. I keep getting an activation error and I’ve tried every tip and trick so far. I even tried to unregister my phone from Apple itself but it’s not even registered so I’m at a loss now. I know Apple said that some might take 24 hours to activate but I just feel like that’s not going to work.

Have you tried to turn off imessage from Apple end? https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage/

Affer that you could try to turn it on again. 

Anyway, which plan are you on? I assumed you turned on data or connected to wifi when you tried to activate imessage?

I’ve tried this but it says my phone isn’t registered, I’m on the $50 10gb plan and yes I’ve done that

also accidentally flagged that as the answer lol might be for others but not for me

If so, I would suggest you wait for another 24 hours. After that you could contact Apple directly and ask. They are quite helpful. The last time I had issue with imessage, they escalated to higher level. My issue was resolved in the end.
