If I buy a two iphone 5s, that isn't from the koodo store, (hasn't been assigned to a company yet) can I join koodo still get a koodo family plan? And what is a large tab?

Yes you can.  And if you bring your own device you qualify for 10% off your monthly plan.

Koodo doesnt really have a Family Plan per se.  It's more having multiple numbers on one account.  And those numbers on the same account will be able to Call and Text each other unlimited while in Canada.

A Koodo Tab Large is where Koodo allows you to place up to $500 of a cell phone purchase on that tab.  It will be paid off with 15% of your monthly bill payment plus a $10 monthly Tab charge.  You also have to sign up with a special Tab Large plan to qualify

Large tab is taking up to $500 off the retail price of the phone. ex: the iPhone 5S is $725, you could get $500 off the price and pay $225 for the phone. You will then go into a negative 500 balance that Koodo and you pay off over time. 15% of your bill (some restrictions apply) will help pay off that balance. as well as a $10 tab contribution that goes right to your tab each month. this $10 contribution will stop once your -$500 tab balance reaches $0 -500 ---------------- 0 --------+150 koodo will still pay 15% towards a +150 balance after you've hit the $0 mark. To go onto the TAB L you will need to choose one of the 3 tab L rate plans. You can bring in unlocked devices to KOODO and go for the NO TAB option which is 10% off your bill each month. you just need to purchase SIM cards ($9.99+ tax) koodo doesn't have specific "family plans". each phone will have their own separate plan, but when the phones are on the same account they will have "family calling" which is unlimited calling to between those numbers on the account. the rate plans do not have to be the same, each phone can have a separate one. so if you choose to bring the unlocked phones into koodo, you can choose from one of the other rate plans. starting from $30/month. visit www.koodomobile.com for details on the rate plans.
