My payment was late by 4 days (I swear I paid it but I guess I didn't as my self serve said I'd have a fee if I didn't pay by the 4th). I just paid it now. I was really hoping to get a new phone(on the tab) in January as I was put on the SLP when I first signed up in July. Will this prevent me from getting a new phone?

I'm sure it's fine.
as it's written, yes you have to be on time and in full for 6 months straight, but customer service never has a problem with that sort of thing.
Just call in for january and a rep will upgrade your credit class.
