I got phone with monthly plan a month ago but it suddenly unable to make any calls.


I got phone with monthly plan a month ago. I could use my phone like phone call, sms for a month but it suddenly unable to make any calls (I still can use sms).I will get a message "it's not activate" when i make a phone call. I already pay for my first bill. Why is it happening and how to activate? Will I get charged for activating my phone?

I paid my first bill so i was thinking it's not about payment. but when I call Koodo's Technical Support Team and find out that my spending limit was over and my account was suspended. They activated my phone again and i can use my phone now. Thank you.

Is your account in good standing -did you pay all your bills on time? Was the phone bought from Koodo or is it a used phone bought from someplace/one else?

Anything that requires a screwdrive to remove should never be removed by a non registered repair person as it would void the warranty. Removing the battery is a general suggestion, if you can't just turn the phone off. In an iPhone the newtork settings are under Settings > Cellular > 3G should be on.
i try to remove sim card only ( battery need small screwdriver to unscrew, idon't have one now) but still not working. How can i check my network setting?

"activated" or "registered"? I've never encountered a phone that gives "The phone is not activated to the network". Following Paul's steps should fix the issue, otherwise you might want to grab another phone and call Koodo's Technical Support Team at 1-866-995-6636 and choose option 6.

Try doing a battery and sim pull, while the phone is on take out the battery and SIM Card for a minute or so then replace them and try it again. Also make sure your phone isn't set to 2g or gsm only in the network settings.
