I got my account on season hold and also asked to unlock my iphone 6s / Was told I would get an email


I called earlier today and I spoke with Koodo and they placed a seasonal hold for me which was amazing. I also asked if I could get my iphone 6s unlocked and they were able to do that as well. 

The only problem is I was told I would get an email telling me how I would go about unlocking my iphone 6s but I have yet to receive an email 

I tried calling 611 from my phone but I cant since its on seasonal hold....

Im not sure what to do

Apple describes the process here. It usually takes about a day for the process to complete, as the servers at Apple need to be updated with the information about the unlock.

Thanks, I just got the email from koodo. 

I got this error when I tried to restore. Its forcing me to go through wifi but my Backup I saved to my pc. 

I am running the latest versions of itunes and iOS off my phone 

There was a temporary problem completing your request. An unknown error occurred (590624). Try again later.

Seems to be an intermittent problem with their activation servers. My advice would be to contact Apple support https://getsupport.apple.com
I managed to restore the backup. I didn't not get an email or a text message from Koodo. Although I am getting the carrier for the country I am in to show up. Is there any way of verifiying whether or not it has been unlocked? It is difficult to get a SIM card just to test.

The easiest and most reliable way is to borrow someone's Sim card for the purpose of the test
