How to retrieve voice mail deleted accidentally

I have an I-phone.  New to it, but generally very happy.

I tap 7 to delete a voice mail.  For the second time in a month, when deleting a voice mail, my shaky hands have tapped 77 so it also deletes the next voice mail message.

I lost my nephew and his family singing happy birthday to me!  Not too sad, as I can ask them to phone again.

But I want to be prepared for next time I mess up...although I will be more careful…

I’ve looked on the line (I am old, but that’s from The Internship!).  Am told to scroll to retrieve, but it doesn’t seem to want to scroll from the screen I’m on.

There is an option to recover deleted voicemail messages as long as it is prior to you hanging up. You can listen to the voicemail menu options after deleting.

They mention it under the section "Everything You Need To Know about Your Voicemail Menu". Pressing 1, 9 should do it.

If it within 10 days, maybe you can try contact Koodo if they have it on their system.  There is no guarantees, but it might worth trying if there is a slight chance...?  Set up a call back through chat or send them a message through FB or Twitter.

Yes!  I should have waited for menu choices after listening to voice mail and accidentally deleting it.

1,9 is an option presented; another is *, 3    

Thank you, All!

 

(My VOICEMAIL screen does not display the info about individual voicemails.  It is essentially blank.  So other suggestions, and info online, didn’t work for me.)
