Have an unlocked iPhone 4 says network is restricted choose a different one.


Have an unlocked iPhone 4 (from Rogers) that I am trying to get going with a new Koodo Prepaid Sim (phone worked fine on Rogers. Have looked at may other entries and have tried turn off on of 3G, restore of phone, set time manually and network reset, airplane mode is not on, and have turned carrier off of automatic and sellected Koodo (says network is restricted choose a different one from setting). Everything results in no service.

Reboot the phone. Are you sure the sim is active? Is there a way to try the Koodo sim in another device?
The person working at the kiosk actually tried a few sims, "none worked", all showing no service which left me believing that this was a problem and my phone had not unlocked properly. They said nothing about activating the account (sim) to resolve the issue. So I did not activate the account yesterday but have now then did a reboot. It appears to be working now. Thanks.
