It should be 10$ for the new sim which you will need to pay. Sim are usually only free when you buy the phone from Koodo.

OK, but will the 20$ be applied to my account as a credit? Other telecos charge 5$ for a new sim. 20$ is kinda high...

Hi Steve, You will have to pay for the prepaid sim and you will need to go in your prepaid self serve account to change your SIM card. Unfortunately, you will not get a credit for it because there is nothing wrong with the SIM card you have now, you can try cutting your standard SIM card to NANO SIM card size but if you make a mistake it may cost you the entire phone.

I don't think so because you have to buy from a Koodo store.

Thanks MatB @ Erwin How would making a mistake cutting your sim card cost him the entire phone? I could see ruining the sim but not the phone

You could try to find a SIM on eBay, Steve (make sure it's a prepaid version!).I managed to pick one up for $3... but truth be told I haven't seen a nano version yet. Mine was a regular size.
