Does my phone have to be present?


I'm already a koodo customer, and I'm planning on swiching plans, and my mom was going to go to the koodo store and do it for me during the day, does she need to take my phone with her? Or can they change my plan through the computer?

No. In fact, you don't even have to leave the house. You guys can just log into Self Serve online and change it there. Reps don't have as much account access as you might think. Just keep in mind that amy negative Tab balance needs to be cleared before changing plans because the new ones are BYOD only.

Hi Emma, Jonathan is right! You can also keep your negative Tab (if you have one) and change your plan for one that was offered prior to April 19th. We call them "Classic plans" now 🙂 If you have a positive Tab or no Tab at all, you'll have to give us a call at *611 or 1-866-995-6636, option #5, and we'll make the switch for you, free of charge (it's not available yet in Self Serve).
