Does changing a plan mean that there's a new contract?


For instance, I'm one year into my contract with koodo with a 40$ 2GB plan. If I change to a 1GB plan, will it be under a new contract?

Actually you're never in a contract with Koodo... Do you mean the tab perhaps? If so, nothing will change... You can change your plan once per billing cycle without any penalties 🙂

Hi William, No the "contract" is on the phone tab, it's not a contract it's just a timeframe for equal payments of the tab. Making changes to your plan doesn't affect that but keep in mind that you need to get a plan that's compatible with your tab size or you'll need to pay off the phone then switch to a plan in a different tier.
