do i qualify for a phone


I would like to know if I qualify for a phone. I recently had dropped my phone, since then it won't turn on.

I do have a Koodo account, with my own phone.

Hello Eva. You always qualify for a new phone. There's no contract with Koodo
I actually have a 2 year contract, with Koodo, Paying monthly.

- Do you mean you sign up with Koodo with your own phone or did you buy a phone with Tab?
If you have a monthly account already, you can upgrade your phone any time.
You will need to pay off your current tab first to start a new tab.
I did have my own phone, up until it broke after dropping it. With a 2 year contract with Koodo.
Kept up with the bill.

You are always able to get a new phone, if you still have a tab balance then you pay that portion of it, and then you can start up a new tab with a new phone.

Eva, when you first signed up with Koodo, did you bring your own phone, or did they give you one from the store? If you brought your own phone, then to get a new one with Koodo now, all you would have to do is submit 2 pieces of ID SIN/D.L or what have you. And they do a credit check to see if your eligible for a phone on tab. If not then you may have to buy the phone out right.
