Discrepancy in data booster usage

My iPhone 6 reports 22.5 MB of usage (settings>cellular>cellular data usage), while booster usage section of Koodo reports over 50 MB. I'm confused about the gap between those numbers. Anyone?

The service provider's data count may differ from the device. Now to me that DOES seem like a huge discrepancy so I suggest downloading a third-party app such as Onavo Count and tracking the data usage next month. And a helpful tip: To save data, use Opera Mini browser (with Off-Road Mode enabled) and Onavo Extend or Opera Max (not sure if available on iOS). Cheers!
