Are you on the Spending Limit program?

What plan are you on ?sounds like you're on the wrong plan for your needs.

I might have to find a different phone company, I've enjoyed koodo, but I need more data

Telus, Rogers, and some of the provincial providers have much larger data buckets available. If the most Koodo can provide you isn't enough plus you're paying out 20 dollars a gb 6 times a month it would likely be cheaper then to swap over to them. Out of curiosity are you using so much data because you have no other Internet access or something?

If you are unable or unwilling to use less while at work there are other optiond (I assume not work related ? Or does your company not provide data for work use?)Telus offers nationwide calling plus 15gb for 95 if you want to stay with the Telus umbrella. Rogers for 85. Sask tel the same for 100, 20gb for 120, 50 for 210. Or data only as a supplement to your plan for 70 for 20gb and other levels. Fido has a data only Sim 3gb for 15 + 10/gb as well for ad hoc use and supplement.

Leila, when I look at you data usage for the last few months you only surpassed the 5gb included in your $48 plan once. Is your anticipated usage going to change that dramatically than you need more than an average of 5gb on a monthly basis?

I'm in the same boat as Leila, I am almost out of data 92% used, I am wanting to add more data and cannot figure out where to do this, I did it last month and was able to add data for $20 but cannot seem to find it now. Looking for a little help/guidance.

At this point you have to wait till you hit 100% Brynn. The message will pop up then whether you want to top up or not.

Thanks Bernard, I appreciate your VERY prompt response, I've just turned my data back on and will wait til I am at 100%.  Once I hit 100% will I be given options as to how much data I can purchase, I recall having purchased an additional $5 once and then last time $20 with so many days left in my monthly plan (about 13 days left) I think buying $20 worth of data may be best.

Another option, if you believe you will use more data going forward, is to look at some of our other plans. Our $40 plan would give you 500mb a month instead of the 100mb you have today that you pay $30 for. The choice is yours Brynn! :-)

Hi Again Bernard, I'm now trying to change my plan (GREAT suggestion by the way) thanks!!  It won't let me, keeps telling me to try again, any thoughts on why?

the actual message that I'm getting is: An error has occurred. Please refresh the page or try again later.

Hmmmm......that's strange....so, you can see the plan I suggested and when you log in clicking on the 'change plan' button gives you an error message? Can you pls grab a screenshot and post it here? If you message on Facebook we can help changing it for you, if all else fails.

The only thing I can imagine is that because you topped up on the 14th of Jan for 1gb the system may view that as a "plan" change. Since customers can only change plans once a month this might prevent you from doing so.

I wonder if that is it, the fact that I had previously added on data in the last month.  I don't know how to put up a screen shot (very low tech level here), I'll just wait and see what happens when I'm at 100% data used up.  Bernard ~ Thanks for all your assistance.
