Data Monitoring Applications for iOS?

Userlevel 5
I used to use Onavo to monitor my data but Onavo for iOS seems to count WiFi as Mobile Data too so I'm not getting accurate numbers. Anyone know some good data monitor/count applications for iOS?

Do they make watchdog for IOS? It's one of the best I've found on Android so if they make it for IOS you might want to check it out.

I heard they do but I can't seem to find it in the Application Store.

Data monitoring apps, while useful, aren't always accurate and getting this info from carriers is your best bet. I use the Self Serve app to monitor my data usage. There is a cellular data counter built into iOS: SETTINGS > GENERAL > USAGE > CELLULAR USAGE. To make this useful, you need to reset stats on every billing date.

I would but the Self Serve application is not working for me. It has an error and will not let me view my usage.

Hi John, We were having a few issues for the iPhone app. We have been told to notify customers that for the new iOS, you may have to uninstall and reinstall to fix it! Hope this helps!

Hey Arianne. It's been revealed on here that that actually doesn't fix it (theres a few of us having this problem and a couple threads about it). I assume there needs to be an actual update to fix it.

Yeah Arianne. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application. It didn't seem to fix anything.

I can access the info in the app via 3G/LTE, but not on WiFi. So it's not completely broken.

There's (sort of) one built in. If you go to Settings -> General -> Usage -> Cellular. you can reset the counter every time your billing cycle resets
Mobidia is simple and easy to use with alerts. http://www.mobidia.com/ Andriod https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobidia.android.mdm iOS https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-data-manager/id477865384?ls=1&mt=8
