Credit Check for SIM-Only Plans.

I want to set up a SIM-only plan, using my own iPhone 5. I read that you need to "pass" a credit check to have it set up. What is considered passing a credit check? I know most carriers do a credit check postpaid non-contract accounts, to see if you are required a spending limit/cap. Is that the same with Koodo? Or will they flat out deny you if you have bad or no credit?

There is a chance they will deny you if you have bad credit. The only way to know is to go and see. Here is a link to some more information http://help.koodomobile.com/getting-started-with-koodo/before-you-purchase/do-you-perform-a-credit-check

Koodo has a spending limit program. http://help.koodomobile.com/my-bill/spending-limit-program/what-is-the-spending-limit-program But it's all depending on the results of your credit check. They might deny you or put you on the program. So you will need to go to a koodo shop to see if you are qualify for a postpaid plan.
