Say I wanna buy a phone tomorrow and then unlock it. Would it be possible? I"m talking about the iPhone 5, so there's no possibility of buying it at Apple's...

Nope. You have have to have the phone for 90 days still 😞
I think you have to wait at least wait for 30 days

30 or 90 days? And wasn't it about owning the account for this amount of time?

If you buy it outright you can unlock it the same day

Actually, you can unlock it right away just not buy Koodo. You don't even have to unlock iphones if you just use this. It's a Gevey SIm (goes on top of your existing SIM card) and it's much cheaper than unlocking yet you get the same benefit. http://www.gevey.com/

It's important to note that the Gevey method may actually be illegal, depending on the version of the unlock (http://www.idownloadblog.com/2011/03/27/musclenerd-confirms-the-gevey-sim-iphone-4-unlock-is-illegal/). Making fraudulent 911 calls is a criminal offense.

It is also iOS sensitive. When you buy it, do not expect to update your iOS and still have the Gevey sim to work. You will need to wait until an updated gevey sim comes out
Robert just call Koodo and make sure its right

Once the new CRTC regulations come into effect, you can get any phone unlocked the same day as long as you paid full price for it...no tab used.
