Confused, new, and hopeful customer!


I already have an iPhone that I am happy with, and am not interested in trading in. If I wanted to change over to Koodo from another company, and wanted one of the new $38 plans on your website, would I be able to use my same phone and not pay the $15 tab or am I required to upgrade.

If you already have your own device you are able to use the price plans listed on the site without paying the additional tab fee, tab fees are only when you get a phone from koodo. Just make sure you phone is unlocked

Btw if your iPhone is a Telus iPhone you won't need to unlock It!

Not always the case, my friend with a Telus iPhone 5s wouldn't accept at koodo Sim card (tested it just to make sure), other Telus phones would work though. Just a heads up 😉

Someone I know is currently using a TELUS locked iPhone 5S with a Koodo SIM. Either there is something wrong with that phone, or it is locked to a provider other than TELUS.
