Checking data usage not working


When I go to check my data usage on self serve or the iPhone Koodo app it says it's unavailable most of the time. This month I've only gotten to see where my data was at once even though I try a few times a week. Do you know what that is and is there any other way for me to see my data usage?

Yes, and it just says Data usage unavailable. Same on the app

I have an iPhone and the app works fine, so it's strange that it gives you troubles.

here is another way to monitor data usage on your iphone http://9to5mac.com/2013/09/25/ios-7-how-to-monitor-track-your-cellular-data-usage/ or you could try a trusted app from the app store. As for the self serve app, try deleting it and reinstalling it.

I tried that. I feel it's not the app it has to do with something on the koodo side if it's not working through a number of channels no matter the phone or computer or method I try to use to figure it out.

Give Koodo a call as it may be something on there end. Maybe call them on Monday as their systems are down until Sunday around noon

Hopefully the call centre will be open. Family Day (Monday February 17, 2014) is observed in the provinces of Alberta, Ontario and Saskatchewan and most businesses will be closed.

My App wouldn't let me either. Koodo posted a Service Notice that Reps had no access to account info and if you need help go to Community. Saturday 8:15pm.

My old phone (a Galaxy Ace) also had issues with the app, used to work fine but after I updated the app around april 2013 it wouldn't even acknowledge the data category; the new phone,an HTC Desire, works with the app just fine. As a workaround, I used the old mobile site,found on the Koodo website roughly two years ago: https://selfserve.koodomobile.com/ This has a mobile sized login and viewing page making it easier to see usage than from the standard desktop self-serve page on a smartphone. This will give you many of the features that the app does have (including bill payment, changing add-ons, and checking usage). As of Feb 17, the url is operational.
