Charged for two numbers- I only use one


I just got my first bill, and I'm being charged for two phone numbers- only one of which I am using. How do I delete the second number and avoid being charged?

Hi Beth, you would have been charged for a portion under the old number and a portion under the new number. Your next bill will be all under the new number. You weren't actually charged double were you?

I changed my number back to a previous number ( before even receiving the new phone). The main portion of the bill is under the correct number, but there is an additional 17$ charge under the previous phone number (which was never in use). It wasn't double, but I don't know what the charge is for- since this number was never in use, and the other charge is what I was told I would be paying monthly.

Do you have 2 number/lines under your account?
Or did you change your number?  And it's showing your old number and new one?

The invoice should show the dates for the period for each number. Are you seeing an overlap in the dates, or do they show two distinct parts of your billing period? For instance, March 3 - 10, and March 11 - April 9?

They are both for the same period: Mar 23 - Apr 1, 2017

There is no double charge on your account Beth. If you look on page 6 of the pdf invoice, you will see the 705 number was credited back sixteen dollars once the phone number change took place.

Can you break down the charges for me? Because by my calculations the $93.00 bill plus tax is not equal to $124.30.

I'm curious to learn what it says on your PDF bill? You can download it from the link at the top right of your image.

$60 4GB 1000min Plan SFD. Plus a tab ($15/month). It gives two totals on the PDF.  $105.09 total for the number I am using, and  $19.21 for the other number. I think the what happened is that I payed the $15 tab for both numbers... Which is not the end of the world because it will be payed off eventually anyways- Just a little bit of a surprise when I first looked at the bill.
