Can't send picture messages using my iPhone with data turned on

So I just switched from Bell to Koodo a few months ago. I unlocked my iPhone 5 with Bell before switching over. When I switched over everything was perfectly fine until just recently I noticed my friend tried to send me a picture message from his Samsung phone but we noticed that I didn't receive it. I tried to send him a picture message back and I would get an error saying to try again. I tried sending an MMS picture message to my friend who had an iPhone as well as another test and it still didn't work.

I can send picture messages fine through iMessage, but through a MMS message, it doesn't work. I have data turned on and I have 6 gb of data with my plan so it should be working.

I've checked the APN and the default settings are the same as what it shows it should be online.

Can anyone help me with this problem? Everything else is great with Koodo, it's just this one small thing that's really getting me frustrated.

Hello John,

Is it only with that particular person, or everyone?

It's with everyone that I tried to send MMS picture messages to.

Go to settings, messages, is MMS messaging turned on?

If it is, try resetting network settings by going to settings, general, reset, reset network settings. All wi-fi and BT saved credentials will be deleted.

I added the second paragraph as you posted, so I'm not sure if you saw it so this is a bump for you Johnathon.

I tried resetting the network settings and it still doesn't work.

Maybe it has something to do with my iPhone 5? Maybe I'll have to try putting the SIM into one of my friend's phones to see if I can send picture messages from a different phone.

I'd give that a shot as well. Apple recommends going to them for continued issues at this point, but you may as well see if the problem follows or not in another phone, ideally iphone.
