can't receive mms from iphone

I can receive most pics, but for example when work sends me someone's contact info, i receive the message it was sent to me but can't seem to open it. I have a nexus 4 upgraded to 5, and I'm pretty sure they have a iphones. I don't know if there is someway they are sharing contact into besides just sending me a screenshot, and what the problem is to why I can't seem to open it? thanks in advance

So you can receive MMS from other phones, but not iPhone. This is what you suspect the problem is?
yes, exactly what I think is happening

Have you tried making other people that have an iPhone send you an MMS to see whether if it's an isolated problem or not. Is it only contacts?

If it's only contacts, then make them share the contact through e-mail to see if it does the same thing.
I shall run a test...but think i couldn't receive mms from iphone friends in the past...

Let's stick to the contacts problem,

I can receive most pics, but for example when work sends me someone's contact info, i receive the message it was sent to me but can't seem to open it.

So, the problem isn't about pictures, but only contacts? If the answer is yes then :

Some Android devices does not have support for handling MMS or SMS vCards in their native texting app. That is why you see it as "content not supported" or even blank message.
You can use third pardy app to handle MMS vCards if your Android device does not support it by default too. Search on Google Play. I've created such an app bizCard Manager. There are plenty more that handle SMS vCards but I've not found any that has MMS support.

Like I said in the post above

That may be the source of the problem.

Purchase an iPhone? Ask them to share by email as suggested above.
