Never tried the gevey sim method so I'm not sure if it will work. I recommend getting your iphone unlocked by bell before bringing it to koodo.

Flawlessly is a lot to ask. Koodo sims don't even work flawlessly 100% of the time. First thing is what iOS is the iPhone? Then what iOS will the Gevey sim cover? And does this Gevey sim also cover the 4s Know that if it does work then you will not be able to update your iOS in the future or your Gevey sim will be useless for the unlock. Assuming all that works out then a Gevey sim should work for Koodo as well as any other provider.
I know that the 4s is on 7.0.3... i think the newest update but my plan is to unlock the phone, they said they used it with telus so they think it will work for me... being telus and koodo are sistering companies

If the Gevey sim works with a telus sim then it will work with a Koodo sim. It will also work with a Rogers sim or any other sim.

The newest update for the iPhone is 7.0.6 which is an important update because prior versions of iOS 7 have a vulnerability that can be utilized to gain access to your device.

My jailbroken 4s is sitting at 7.0.4. You might want to hold off on updating your iPhone to 7.0.6., there are a number of reports circulating that the update will brick the device (rendering it inoperable). I've managed to apply the SSL patch using a different method. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5934120?tstart=0 https://discussions.apple.com/article/HT1808

I don't recommend Gevey SIM interposers at all. Admittedly, I haven't used one in years so I don't know what's changed, but if they're still requiring the emergency call exploit then I must warn you that this is highly illegal. Since you don't actually own the Bell iPhone yet, why not find a Telus/Koodo iPhone?
