Can I add a 2nd phone & a new number to an existing sim only account that has a no tab discount ?


Can I add a 2nd phone (bought outright) & a add a new number to an existing sim only account that has a no tab discount ?  I understand new sim card would need to be purchased.

Do you mean so you have 2 phones and 2 phone numbers under 1 plan? If so then no you need a separate plan for each line. You could add a second line to your account if you pass a credit check allowing it. You just take your unlocked phone and go to a kiosk and they will set up a second line and you can choose what plan you want for that line as well as choose a phone number from the list they'll provide and they'll put it on to a SIM Card (cost $5 for sim) pop it in your unlocked phone and away you go.

You can activate it right here for free or call 1-866-99-KOODO and have a Customer Service Rep help you (charges will apply).

Yet, the "right here" hyperlink leads back to my own account with NO option to activate a new sim card.  I don't want to change the phone, I want to put a plan on a second phone, with a second sim card.

Where is the "right here" free activation page??

The long and the short of it is you will need to procure the second SIM, generally available [i]only at a kiosque or retailer. Get your paperwork/plan done there.

That's the thing.. I bought the new sim card from a kiosk and had the phone unlocked... now trying to get it activated (from home)

You can't add 2nd line through online.

If you want to add 2nd line under your account, the easiest way is to go to the nearest Koodo shop and set it up there(pick a phone,plan and phone number) as Bob mentioned.
But, since you already have an unlock phone and sim on your hand, call Koodo *611 from your phone and tell them you want to add 2nd line under your account.(Don't forget to mention you already bought a sim)
They should be able to help you.

I was at the koodo shop at carlingwood and they told me to do this online! I have a prepaid account and want to add a 2nd phone to the account.  I have the phone. I have the SIM, can't figure out how to do it. 😕

You can't add a second phone to the same account using prepaid Jacob. Each line is its own account! You will need to sign up for a new account
