Activation

I am new to Koodo, and so far I am very disappointed. I ordered a plan and SIM card and have just spent 4 hours trying to activate my SIM card. I tried to register for Self-Serve but all I got was an email saying I was registered but when I try to log in, it says it is waiting for my approval. I am tech savvy, but I am now starting to believe that it is not possible to set things up on your own and I am just expected to pay for someone to do it for me. I have not been given the information I need to set up anything and I am very disappointed. I have contacted 2 other support services today free of charge and I was helped within minutes. But not here.
