Activating voicemail from a different phone


Hi. I changed my plan but now I have to reactivate my voicemail, which I didn't anticipate.  I'm currently overseas and it says I have to do it from my actual phone.  I need that voicemail open for business reasons... what do I do????  Can I call Koodo and have them activate it for me?

Did you leave your phone behind or are you trying to avoid roaming charges? It shouldn't be very expensive to dial in to activate it if you have it with you as it'd take you 2 minutes at most. I don't know if anyone can activate it for you on Koodo's end, but I'll check.

Hi, I did check. Turns out that your VM was reset due to Telus/Koodo migrating to a new VM platform (not your rate plan change). And unfortunately, there is no way for anyone else to activate it for you. Is there someone who has physical access to your phone that you can ask to do this?
