Activating my new phone as a second line.


I just got my new phone in the mail today. I went to activate and port my existing number to it but I can't figure out how. It will be the second phone on my account as I already have Koodo Home phone as my existing phone. When I login and go to port my phone number it wants to change my current Koodo home phone number, but I don't want to change that number at all, just add the second line and port my current mobile number to it. Help!

You may need to switch your home phone line in self service to your  new mobile like, Nicole, so you can port your number to the NEW line, not your existing home phone line 🙂
I don't understand what you mean by "switch your home phone line in self service to your new mobile like, Nicole". I don't want my home phone line on my new phone, I want it to stay the way it is. Would it be easier if I just create a new account with a different email address to add my new phone to?

Not really, there are many benefit to have both lines on one account. I can't really help you with the switching between lines because we only have one line... but I'm sure someone will be able to help you out soon.
