50 Anytime Minutes while in Cuba. Do incoming calls and voicemails count against minutes used?

I am going to be traveling to Cuba and see there are two options 1) text only for $15, and 2) some data, calls, and text for $40. My question is around the phone calls. It says 50 Anytime Minutes. Are incoming calls free? EG: if someone calls my voice mail and leaves a long winded message, does that eat up my 50 minutes?

It would eat up your minutes checking your voicemail unless you can call from someone elses phone and when you get to your voicemail, press # and then enter your regular Voicemail password. As for the ANYTIME minutes, they are anytime you use the calling function of your phone .I believe its incoming and outgoing. Calling out to check voicemail etc. Best of luck. If your able to get on a PC/Laptop. You can use Hangouts and Gmail to make phone calls for free to anyone, anywhere in the world. Enjoy your vacation
Thanks! I don't plan on check at all lol, but I use a service called YouMail. It forwards my calls to a service that transcribes voicemails to text and emails them to me. So my question is more around if the incoming messages will eat up those 50 Anytime Minutes. Sounds to me like it might use the 50 minutes. Hopefully people will leave a very brief message lol!

If you don't answer the phone the minutes used to leave the message do not count against your minutes. If you check your voice mail from your phone the minutes you use calling and listening will count.

Thank you! That is helpful. I will add the package and hope for the best.

Yeah if you get a voicemail it wont charge you for the person to leave it. Only if you check it.
