2 numbers on a single phone

Hi, I have an iPhone SE. In addition to my cell, I have a landline for which I'd like to keep my number. I'd also like to keep my cell phone number. Is there a way to have two phone numbers direct calls to my cell phone without doing an actual call transfer from my landline? I want to eliminate my landline and only keep my cell phone. I'm willing to pay more for the service and / or to change phone...

Thank you

You can move your landline to a VoIP service and forward the calls to your cell

Or use the voip App on your phone simultaneously if it's one with a phone app andeave it running. I have Fongo running on my phone with a second phone number myself.

2 caveats on using the VoIP app, rather than forwarding:

  1. it can get a little disconcerting to decide "which" phone is ringing until you get used to it.
  2. the VoIP app may hog a lot of battery life and data while it's active.
