ring tones

I think koodo should have its own app where you can download songs instead of having to steal from those other mainstream apps and it can go on phone bill.

you could always find a usb cord that fits your phone type. And plug it into your computer, and select " USB DRIVE". And then just open your music folder on your phone. and drag music from your computer onto your phone.

i use Zedge which you can get through the store on your phone it will be under free apps... for zedge and then you can download ringtones, live wallpapers, notification tones and games i believe.. best thing ever that i have used.
Zedge is a great app to download from the Google Play store. You can download ringtones straight to your phone and it's free! However, if you have an iPhone, you will need to download the ringtones on your computer, drag them to your iTunes, and import them into your phone from their. Pain in the ass? Definitely, but it is worth it in the long run. Hope this helped! 🙂

Hey Mat, let's remember to include that Jamster is a 3rd party service and does require a monthly subscription fee for it's use 🙂.
There are many programs you can download, or use for free online, that allow you to take any MP3 file you already have, and customize it into a ring tone of your liking. It is very easy to do. Ring tones are a big thing on the app store right now, but I believe the best option is to start from your own music library. If you already have a song you want as a ring tone, it is much easier to make it yourself and save the hassle of finding an app, and an appropriate version of the song you want.
Unless you're on a closed OS like iOS, you shouldn't need to pay for.ringtones. Android apps like Zedge is your best bet, or make your own MP3 ringtones on your computer and transfer to your phone over USB.

Hi Lynn, could you specify a bit more. I'm not too sure what your question is. Thanks 🙂 Ring tones don't use data if that's what you meant. The only time is when you use data to download a ring tone.

You can download ringtones over wifi which is what I recommend. When you click on the ringtone it should say the size of the file so you can figure out how much data it would use based on that. Here is a link for making your own ring tone http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/how-to-make-ringtones-for-iphone/#!KNzIL there could also be other apps for making custom ringtones
