z 10 shuts off, won't restart

Have a Z 10, won't start after repeated efforts. Shut off by itself and now computer doesn't even recognize it as a connected device. Any ideas?

If Link doesn't recognize it after having it plugged in and the power button held for 10 seconds, it's toast. Is it still within the 1 year warranty?

Does it display an error code on its screen when trying to turn it back on?

Make sure the battery has a charge more than 3%
Thanks for the replies, It had approx 75% charge when this occurred. It doesn't display anything much less an error code. I'm beginning to think that it may be toast, but my year is over. I may have to take this up with BB and Koodo. I can tell you if I don't receive satisfaction, this will be my last Blackberry product. Upon investigation, I'm finding that this is a common thing since the last update. I'll keep you posted as to what happens as I won't be in a Koodo kiosk for another two weeks, and am unable to talk to a rep on the Koodo page.
