Worried about Warcraft

I don't know if anyone can help me, but I'm going to ask anyway ... I have the WOW authenticator on my phone and my old cellphone stopped working and when I logged into my WOW account I can no longer sign in because I didn't unattach the old authenticator before downloading the app to my new phone and it will not transfer over. I have an android phone, so it won't bring up the necessary restore menu option for me to do it that way. When I signed up to play WOW 5 months ago, I used a pseudonym which I obviously do not have government issued ID for. Blizzard won't help me without this information. Can Koodo somehow fix this issue for me or am I pretty much 'screwed' for the lack of a better word?

Unfortunately, that is a Blizzard issue. For privacy reasons, cellphone companies do not have access to any application or account information on your phone. They can can help you set up some of the "out of the box" features only. Sorry 😞
Thanks for your help! Guess I'm out of luck! 😞

Blizzard doesn't require Government ID. The one thing they will ask for is a CD Key from one of your Blizzard games.
In order to remove the authenticator so I can re-add another one, they're requesting government issued ID. It's part of their strict privacy policy. It's apparently how they police your account to prove it's you and not someone hacking or attempting to take over your account.
Account security is a paramount concern at Blizzard Entertainment. As such, we require extensive verification in order to deactivate the Battle.net Authenticator. Please submit the following documentation: 1) A legible photo or scan of the identification of the registered account user. Only a government issued photo ID or Birth Certificate (minors only) will be accepted. School IDs are not accepted. 2) Battle.net account email address 3) World of Warcraft license name (if applicable) 4) Confirmation and acknowledgement that you desire removal of your authenticator. Talking to them on the phone, they're still requesting that information.

Of course I do, but I registered with a pseudonym, and not my real name so that doesn't prove anything to them. Not smart on my part I know, but I can't fix that now ...

Yikes. You could get an Age of Majority card.

It will still have my real name on it, not the name I registered for when I purchased the game, and set up my account.
