Where is blackberry classic!!??

Why is koodo NOT carrying the blackberry classic? i dont want to hear no plans to id like to know the reason why! ive been loyal customer since koodo started but if i cant up grade my phone to what i would like on tab then it seems to me that many of us will be leaving koodos for another provider. blackberry koodo users might only make up 15 -20% of your customer base but to just out leave us in the dark or make us get a phone that YOU want us to get is just wrong. sorry koodo you have till the end of march and if there is still no plans of getting the BB classic i will be looking for a new provider.

Blackberries don't sell as well anymore. Koodo actually had both the Z10 and Q10 and both were discontinued shortly afterward. I suggest you don't switch providers just over a phone. You'd be better off buying it outright. I know it sucks having to pay regular price instead of Tab but you might cause headaches going over to Rogers or Bell for a classic because their plans are more expensive.

i know they dont sell as well but they do sell they dont have to go all out like they did before. as for just buying the phone out right is an option but that only benefits koodo and gives them a way out and not get the phone but keep getting my money.

Or if you really want to use tab. Use the tab to buy a Popular phone and then sell it to get the money you need for the classic.

Jonathan, you cant suggest to users to simply switch to a phone they prefer to use. BB users are generally more loyal then most other brand followers....for a reason!
I have the same thoughts as Jacen's original post about leaving Koodo for the phone and BB support. its not wise for Koodo to simply shut out BB users. I would rather leave Koodo with the phone I want then suffer simply because its "easier"
its a bad mentality to have

To further Jonathan's reply, getting the Classic on shopblackberry.com will work with koodo. Then apply for the no tab discount

So you'd rather spend an average of 30% or more per month to get the same plan with Robellus to save a few hundred bucks? It'll cost you more over 24 months in the long run. If you feel like you still wanna switch, then that's your prerogative. You can wait it out another month to see if Koodo announces the device by checking out the Facebook page. If not, then good luck in your decision, my friend.
wind has it for 0 down $60 tab plan. witch is almost the same im paying now for my Q5. why is a smaller company have blackberry classic if its not going to make them money? lol oh i wouldnt be goin to bell or rogers that why i came to koodo

I don't think you'd happy with wind's service based on all the reviews. According to the CRTC the most complained about cellphone company is not Rogers but wind. Go figure.

They're not "getting away" with anything. It's not like they're doing this to you personally. It's just business reasons for them not carrying it. If demand is high enough I'm sure they'll reconsider.

What???? What do you mean? You can go anywhere you want one you paid off your phone. When you buy a TV you pay full price. In a normal world you would do the same for a cellphone. For some reason cellphone companies think it's a good idea to let people pay it off in bits and pieces.

some people like paying it off slowly or cant drop 500-700 on a phone and this is the point of koodos pay it off slowly with tab

I would take a guess that Blackberry making up 15-20% of customers is probably a huge overstatement. I would guess more along the lines of 3-4%. As for the simple reason why Koodo doesn't carry the Blackberry Classic....Its exactly as Jonathan said, they don't sell. I visit retailers that carry the Classic every day, and every time I ask them if it is selling, they say they have sold maybe 2-3 since the phone launched. When sales are 20 or even 30:1, the business case for carrying a Blackberry is pretty weak. And just because Wind or Virgin carry it, doesn't mean its selling, it just means that in 4 months youll be able to get a great deal on a clearance phone since it didn't sell before that.

also they can carry the phone knowing they dont sell fast just 3-5 phones a store if a store runs out order 5 more there a way around it instead of just not getting it. everyone is carrying the classic other then koodo if it was that bad no one would be... well maybe the big 3 but other then that no one else

Ive asked most of the retailers that I deal with, and none of them have said they have sold more than 2-3 since the phone launched. Most of them haven't sold even one.
I would NEVER go with Bell and Rogers service here is horrible for reception.. My friend signed up with Bell and has regretted it EVER since. Koodo is the best !!!! And if you really would like to get a Black Berry I'd suggest buying it outright from a retailer and getting it unlocked to work with Koodo. E-Bay sure sells lots of unlocked cell phones and I'm sure you can find a Blackberry. Also there's shopblackberry.com You can stay with the company that way. Just today at my work lots of people were bragging about how great Koodo is with their data and prices !!!! I own a HTC which I paid for outright from Koodo and I LOVE it !

Bell & Telus/Koodo have shared towers in most areas since 2012. Foley comments on reception need a little further introspection...

You don't have to change anything there. Just swap your sim from your iPhone to the classic.
