self serve app suddenly a no go


Koodo self serve app has stopped working on my BlackBerry Z10. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled to no avail. Still working on my wife's same device. For me it loads to the login screen and then closes on its own.

Have you tried restarting the BlackBerry?
Yes, both before and after a reinstall attempt.

Have you recently updated the phones firmware?
I have, and that may be about when it stopped working. My wife has completed the same update and her's is still working...?

I have a couple of other apps that are doing the same thing, but all of them, including the Koodo app came from BlackBerry World. Auto trader, the Score and NHL gamecentre are the ones I know of. Are they built for BlackBerry or just Android ports?

The Koodo Self Serve app has always had many glitches for myself also (iOS user)

It never just crashed out on BB 10 however.

I did a bit of research and TheScore and Autotrader are android ports. I couldn't confirm NHLGamecentre but I'm assuming it is. It's my belief your android runtime is corrupt and your firmware needs to be reinstalled. Here is what to try (this will erase information on your device and return it to a factory state) Open Blackberry Link and connect your phone with a USB cord. run a full backup! After which use Blackberry link to reinstall the firmware When that's done use Blackberry link to do a partial restore of only your apps and settings
