New Blackberry broken

I purchased my second Blackberry 5 weeks ago and the track pad is now not working. This is the same problem I had with my last one BUT this one is only just over a month old! I went to the Koodo kiosk and the guy said that it would have to be sent away to get fixed and I would pay $150 for a loner phone. It makes me so mad because obviously this phone is a lemon and I don't think I should have to be inconvenienced because of this. I think Koodo should deal with Blackberry and get a refund for it. Are there any other options for this?

You have a one year manufacturer warranty that Koodo has no choice but to facilitate. Call tech support and explain the situation, they're obligated to facilitate the repair/swap for you. This is assuming the faulty trackpad wasn't caused by misuse or damaged by the user.

Just to add, The 150$ is a deposit for the loaner and is 100% refundable once you get your old phone back and return the loaner. you are not obliged to take a loaner however. You can also use another phone if you have it just until yours gets fixed.
