LTE in Thunder Bay?

So it's reported that Telus finally has LTE in Thunder Bay and since Telus and Koodo are... related I was wondering if anyone in TBay has picked up an LTE signal? Source: http://mobilesyrup.com/2013/01/26/telus-gives-thunder-bay-some-lte-love/
I can definitely say that a friend of mine has the Galaxy S3 and has picked up LTE while another who is with Telus has picked it up as well.

Apparently that is the case. I've asked a few people if they were able to pick it up yet on the LTE but no answer yet. I'll post if someone has an answer
