Koodo SIM card not working on 3 different mobile phones.
Yesterday I bought a Koodo prepaid SIM card and I put it into my freeuse phone which I used with many other SIM cards and networks. It says not registered on the network. There is signal and when I search for networks it only finds CAN Rogers and it says that this SIM card cannot register on that network. I checked the IMEI numbers on yours website and it is fine. I tried the sam card on another 2 telephones and still the same problem: it gets the signal but can only find CAN Rogers network. I called the helpdesk and after an hour someone finally answered. They checked the IMEI and it was fine, then they checked everything else and could not find the reason. After the call I tried the same SIM card on another two different mobile phones with the same failure. I have the feeling that they want me to buy one of their phones so tomorrow I go back and request a full refund of my money.
What is a 'freeuse phone', and what other phone models did you try? It sounds like they are all trying to connect to Roger's 2G network.
Could you check your model on https://www.willmyphonework.net? It tends to be quite accurate for compatibility. If Koodo's tool is the same that Public Mobile uses (and I'm guessing it might well be), it can be horribly inaccurate and produce many false positives.
