Koodo is terrible for answering the phone


Koodo is absolutely terrible to get through on the phone!! This is the third time this week I've been on for two hours and have been disconnected. There is no call back option because they do that when their is high wait times. But I guess 7 hours in one week is not considered high wait times. I'm disappointed and won't continue my service. It's not an issue that the community can answer. I just got disconnected and I called back again.

What issue are you calling Koodo for?  Maybe we can direct you to something other than calling and waiting if we are unable to help you answer your question)
I get that ! But my question is about a plan. I've got a plan that is 55 bucks with 3gb of data and unlimited talk and text with a 15 dollar tab to make 70 pre tax. It's great except I can't continue to afford that. I need the unlimited talk but a little bit of data, even if it's 500 mb. But they don't offer that. When working for Telus prior we could adjust plans to fit a customers need and that's where this community can't do that for me.

@Kyle, Koodo doesn't adjust plans on an individual basis so talking to one of our rep wouldn't have helped. Looking at your account though, on average you use about 300 minutes a month. We do have a plan for $40 that offers 500 minutes a month and 500mb. Maybe something that would suit your needs. If it is you can change your plan online for free.

Ya I viewed that plan. Last month I had over 600. Since moving to another province I'll be using more and for my work as well. So that's why I haven't adjusted to that plan. Unfortunate.

Do you happen to be moving to Quebec, Saskatchewan or Manitoba? If so you can take advantage of one of their region specific plans.

Bear in mind that the $40 plan comes with unlimited evenings and weekends (from 5pm), so if a lot of the calls may take place during that time then you maybe quite fine. Last month, from what i can tell you used 341 minutes. The month prior to that it was 286.

Looks like you have a tough choice to make to fit your budget and to fit your needs.

The good news is that you got your answer straight from a Koodo rep and you didnt have to wait on hold anymore
