Is it worth upgrading my HTC 8X to an HTC ONE M8 for 8.05$ more per month ?

My HTC 8X won't be getting Windows Phone 10 so i was thinking of changing it for either a Blackberry Leap or HTC ONE M8.

I'd say skip the leap. Future updates and support of the OS are iffy IMO The M8 is a Hardy device that performs well although you may not like the camera. It's apparently quite a great device.

I would consider no W10 a plus not a minus. The only way to know if the upgrade is worth it is by answering the following Does your current phone work fine? Does it do everything you need? If not what phone has whats lacking? And is the price equal to or less than what you are willing to pay? If you're just looking for a trophy then grab the most expensive one you can 😉

The HTC m8 is a really good device and at the price it is now it's an excellent device. It's camera is it's only shortfall but not an issue from the devices your coming from as I'd say it's better than those IMO. The biggest advantage you'll have switching to Android is apps which are in abundance especially compared to WP. The only downfall of getting the M8 is updates as its nearing 2 years old and won't be updated past the Marshmallow update it will be receiving by the end of the month. It will receive any patch or security updates for awhile but full versions of Android it will not. This may be an issue since your presently ditching your phone simply because it isn't getting the most recent version of the OS it's running and if that's the case then you might want to wait for a newly released device and grab it then but you will be paying like 4 times the price for a device that runs top tier specs.

Also, my Lumia 640 has been losing its charge in about 4hours and since it is a very low end phone...i think i should get a better one.
