Got data and now no wifi?


So i just got a data plan and now my wifi isnt working on my phone? Before when i didn't have data it worked perfectly fine? I dont understand whats going on?

What plan are you on? Did you select a BlackBerry specific plan?
I have never been on a blackberry specific plan and I have just changed over my plan to the 39 a month plan with double minutes and double data?

Try rebooting your device, forgetting the WiFi network you're trying to connect to, and connect to it again. If it's your home WiFi that's having issues, unplug your router for about 30 seconds and plug it back in then try reconnecting.
I tried rebooting my phone and it still didn't work. And I don't think if I unplug my wifi it will do anything because its running fine For all my other devices? It was literally the second I changed my plan my wifi stopped working and I keep getting the same message saying " a communication failure has occurred. This server may be busy, please try again later. Of the problem persists contact your service provider" so I'm not sure because I've never had this problem before until I changed my plan?

Make sure you have a BlackBerry specific plan. The plan you are on has a BlackBerry specific counterpart. Call customer service and explain you took the wrong plan and they'll change it for you. There shouldn't be a cost involved. Your browser is looking to see if it's registered with BIS and since it isn't it won't allow you to use the browser.

I never had a blackberry plan before I switched over so I don't understand why it isn't working for this one but it worked for my other?

The plan you had with whomever may have been pre configure for BlackBerry. Koodo requires BlackBerry 7 and lower users to have a BlackBerry specific plan for the features to work.
I have been with Koodo for going on 3 years and I just changed my plan last week and now the wifi isn't working?

This is odd... my suggestion may be a longshot but can you try this: Settings > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Register. Phone will reboot. See if anything changes.
What blackberry do you have?
Thanks everyone for all of your help, i ended up buying a new phone ( not because the wifi wasnt working xp i was originally buying a new one ) but the wifi works on this one perfectly (: but thanks guys for being so helpful! (:
