enterprise activation


does anyone know what this is and does? I got a BB 9800 here as a back up wifi is on and there was a check mark on Telus as well. Thanks

Enterprise activation is for secure email and BBM within a commercial enterprise. You company would be running software that would secure inter office communication. It's not available for the everyday user.

well that stinks I got 500 mags of data and cant use it on my BB 9800 with out the E.A. done.

I'm sorry I don't understand your complaint. Bes is not required to use the Internet. BIS is however and that's provisioned by your carrier. Are you perhaps referring to BlackBerry Internet Service?

I was trying to set up to get and send email it said I must provide a code in order to use this I did not know what the requirement was on the BB 9800

The only requirement is that the plan you're on allow access to bis

You're not using the correct option in the phone. There should be 2 options under email: enterprise server or "regular" emails (don't know the exact terminology) First you need to make sure you're on the BB version of Koodo's plans for data to work. Older BBs actually required data for emails. Then what I suggest you do is go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Host routing table. Hit the BB button and select register now. Phone should reboot. Try setting up your email again. Let me know if you're still having difficulty.
