Cancelation of service


My BB Q5 has been coming up "emergency calls only" for quite some time now. I have not had any luck with solving this issue so I am ready to leave koodo. I called Customer Service from a landline and finally spoke to a rep. I told him I would like to cancel my service and he replied "I actually got this call by mistake, can I call you back? I said yes, he took my number and I hung up. I never received that call. Am I going to continue to get this run-around when I try to cancel?

Turn the phone off, pull the battery and SIMM card out and then put it all back.  I use to get this with my 9320 every now and then.
Next time you have to call Customer care, get person's name so you can tell them who the bad service was from.
I have tried the turn it off and the simm card thing many times. and to the best of my knowledge you cant pull the battery on a Q5.

Have you tried using another sim or using your sim in another phone to narrow the issue?

Sorry Rob, was no aware of that with the Q5. Normally this is a good way to do a power cycle on a device. (ATL Shift DEL) is the other way.

If you are looking to port your numbr over to another provider they will cancel your Koodo account for you

No you cant pull Battery on a Q5.
You need to call Koodo tech support to see if it is an issue at there end.
Dial 1-866-99-KOODO (1-866-995-6636).Hours of operation (local time):
  • Monday − Friday: 9am - 9pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 7pm
  • Sunday: 9am - 7pm
