Can I return my phone (LG) and use an unliocked one instead?

I recently purchased a replacement phone for my water-damaged Blackberry. It's an LG  G3 phone because you no longer carry Blackberry. I hate it. I would like to purchase an unlocked Blackberry and return my new phone (in like new condition and complete packaging untouched, in the Koodo bag). Can I do this? How long?

Hi there...

The Money Back Guarantee period is 15 days from the day you purchased the device, so if you are still within this period, you might return your phone...

Please read in your Service Agreement the section "Is there a trial period" since limits in the minutes, sms and data apply...

A device factory reset should get rid of that

Makkahn, that is only applicable if you want to completely cancel service. If he sticks with Koodo the amount of use dosn't matter as long as he stays within the 15 days

Hi there Mathieu... There are actually limits that clients need to respect in order to return the phone regardless they stay or not with Koodo... Places like Walmart, Best Buy, Wow mobile, etc have their own return policy and if the limits are exceeded, they will not take the phone back...

Hi Camilo, You should read up on the Koodo return policy. The whole remainning under X amount of talk time, 50 text messages etc have nothing to do with returning the phone or not. All that had to do with it is weather or not you have to pay the Koodo bill if you cancel service when returning a phone. Thanks for your input though, please read up not about it here:http://help.koodomobile.com/getting-started-with-koodo/before-you-purchase/what-is-your-15-day-money-back-guarantee Also, before you tell me that the whole billing of your bill varies by the store you purchase it at, it does not. Koodo billing remains Koodo billing if I buy my phone on Mars or not.

Thanks for the comments... I know very well the return policy... "If your phone was purchased at a Retail Partner (For example: Future Shop, Wal-Mart etc.) you must return your phone to the same Retail Partner. Return policies vary by Retail Partner." I invite you to visit one of those stores and ask about their return policy, you might realize what I am talking about... 😉
