BlackBerry Internet Service not connected


Ever since sometime last week my BB Bold 9790 has stopped sending/receiving email via the Koodo network. I have data services turned on, and I am able to browse the web, but when I look under Service Status I see that BlackBerry Internet Service has status "Not Connected." The email accounts are all internet mail (gmail, yahoo) and messages are being sent/received when I am connected to wifi. Has there been a recent change/outage to the BlackBerry Internet Service support?

Have you recently pulled your battery and allowed it to restart?

Removing the battery and restarting fixed the problem. Thanks Chad!

Those older bb are buuuuhhhhgy. We used to use an app on ours that would restart it (cold reboot) every morning at 3am. I can't remember the name of it but look for it in bb world. Btw the new bb 10 devices are awesome and you should check them out.
