Add a compare phones feature to website

I was shocked to see that the Koodo website doesn't have a compare phones feature. I thought it was standard for all phone service providers and retailers. Pretty basic stuff to help a potential customer choose a product to buy from you 😞

It would absolutely be handy thats for sure. If your looking for an in-depth review or comparison of two phones, search it on YouTube. Its most likely your best bet for now. Im sure it will get implemented online at some point. Hope this helps

We tested with customers and most were not interested in comparison as they knew exactly what they wanted. The few that appreciated a feature like that said they would read reviews online on third party pages. So there was not a lot of demand hence, for the time being, we don't have that feature.

I don't think most carriers in Canada do have that as an option. You can always go to gsmarena.com to see side by sdie comparisons.

Or you could go to the TELUS Mobility website and compare phones. Many of the phones they carry, Koodo carries. I agree, a compare feature would be helpful.

Bernard has provided you with the politically correct response.  You can accept that like most people would, but the reality is ... retailers and service providers don't want you to compare phones to see what's the best value for your $$ ... they want you to purchase the devices they make the most profit on.  That's is why most retailers and especially service providers, only offer you a "select" few handset manufactures & models.  For the truly best deal for your $$, it is usually a large on-line retailer, or even the manufacturer's site itself ... they provide many more models and their hand sets are unlocked.

Before reading all the posts from people saying it's not true ... go look for yourself.  Search the models for sale on the service provider's site ... they are usually much cheaper on other sites.  If you want to shop cross-border, the US sites have even more choices for unlocked handsets, and they are often much cheaper than the Canadian counterpart models.

Just say'n ...

It wasn't a political answer Owen. 🙂 I would tell you if that was the case. We live in an awesome world where you can buy your phone nowadays where ever you wanted and have it unlocked. Here is one site for those who want a phone we don't carry: http://www.expansys.ca/

The advantage with us would be simply not having to pay up front and be able to finance your purchase.

All in all, no conspiracy theories to be had here. :-)
