Rate charged for home phone

I have a home phone, have had it for years. (905) xxxxxxx

I recently double checked my plan for the phone, rate is $5.00 per month.

However, my phone bill is charging me $20.00 per month.

Explain Please, I would like to be charged according to plan.

Please don’t post your number/account number in a public forum!

The homephone promotion $5/month lasted for a year. After a year, it will switch back to $20/months. They mentioned in the nitty gritty "You'll pay $5/month for the first 12 months. On month 14, you'll begin paying the regular price, currently $20/month “

That is the correct rate. The promotional rate is only available for one year. 

 

Thanks for posting this, I am considering the home phone service and didn’t realize the home phone would increase in price to $20/month. I must not have noticed that little “1” and the footnote.
