I have been over charged and cannot get through to speak to an actual person


I dropped the USA portion of my phone plan which was $15.00 plus tax and was told the credit would be reflected on my next bill.  Instead of receiving a credit, my phone bill went up!  I tried and tried to book a telephone call with a representative to ask why and every time I answered with the required “hello” there was no response.  I am so frustrated and have no time to keep booking calls and have no response.

I was little confused by the description, what do you meant by saying “dropped the USA portion”? Was it about easy roam? Can you describe the issue with more detail?

You can login to your self serve and download your detailed pdf ebill to see why your bill went up.  If you look at pages 3 or 4, where are the extra charges coming from?

I paid $15.00 extra a month to have unlimited USA calling. I cancelled that USA calling and was told I would receive $15.00 per month plus taxes off our monthly invoice. It never happened…in fact our monthly invoice increased from $177.71 per month to $180.92!!!! I have tried and tried to get an explanation which I am entitled to, I even called a Koodo store and was told, “ that’s what happens when you chose Koodo over Telus, it’s a cheaper plan because there is no customer service, sorry I cannot help you”.!!!! What??? Such a horrible attitude! None of this makes any sense to me. I will not ever choose Koodo again. I paid our higher invoice as we always pay our bills and don’t want to pay interest charges. Are you able to help me with this?

It is very hard to know what went wrong with just the number of invoices. As this is community forum, we don’t have access to your account,

Could you go into selfserve, download the PDF bill and check the page 3 (or 4) of it to see the detail breakdown of the fee. If you need help, you could post a snapshot of the bill here (hide all personal information before posting please). Someone might know what happened.

Did you download your PDF bill as per Dennis’s comment above? It will say what you were charged for.
