i have been charged Activation fee, why?


I have took postpaid sim on 12 May with Women’s day offer where I have been told I will not charged for activation fee which will be waived off in bill, however I can see it’s been charged 50$ to my first bill.

I took this sim from Koodo authorised store.

Koodo representative email id is: cheyuan61@gmail.com

her Name: Yuan Che

store location:200 Barclay Parade SW B02, Calgary, AB T2P 4R4, Canada

please talk to your employee on this issue and help me refund accordingly.

Did the rep put in a note on your file? Have they told you how it would be waived? In many cases, Koodo usually charges you for the first month and they credit it back on the second or third bill.

Yes, she told me that you will charge for activation fee in 1st bill and it will be waived off in same bill, like -50 $ , however I did not see it’s been waived off in my bill.

Also while creating my case she put a note for same.

Upon checking your account, we can see that you managed to get in touch with our support over the phone, who offered more details about the connection fee and when it applies. 

 

The connection fee is automatically waived when ordering online at https://www.koodomobile.com/

@SwapnilDophe Unfortunately, you will have to connect with the Techbox Communications employee  (they are not a Koodo employee) if they made that promise. Their name is on your agreement. I have to believe they will do the right thing and compensate you in the best possible way.
