How can I dispute Easy roam charges on my last bill? I have not travelled to the US and have stayed in Canada for the entire billing period. I was on a place on Vancouver Island in Canada where sometimes the phone picks up signal from Rogers (this happened twice on my last bill: once in oct and once in Nov and so I was charged 28$ total for Easy Roam). But Koodo's website clearly states that "There are no long distance or roaming charges in Canada, so that means you can call from anywhere in Canada to anywhere in Canada worry-free." This was not the case here. I would like a reimbursement.
Hi
We have reviewed the details and can see that the charges were triggered due to accidental roaming, therefore we have applied a credit to your account which will be forwarded to the next bill since payment was made for the current bill.
We recommend checking out this article to find out more about how to prevent accidental roaming when close to the border:
